相信大家跟 Mr. 昨天一樣看到 Taylor Swift 宣布要發行新專輯 evermore 瞬間跳了起來，畢竟這一次不到半年就出了兩張專輯，而且還是姐妹專，就像電影一樣還出了續集，彼此之間有許多的連結和故事的延續。而這首 willow 的 MV 也正描繪出了這點！

當按下播放鍵的時候，大家或許也注意到 Taylor 穿著毛衣沿著之前 Cardigan 的金線開始了新的冒險，而金線大家也知道所代表的意義就是 Joe Alwyn 溫暖和煦的愛，也是 folklore 專輯中 invisible string 的含義。
泰勒絲開始了一連串的探索，先到了之前彈鋼琴的湖畔邊，在柳樹下看著湖的倒影，雖然只有一個人，但是湖裡卻出現了另一個身影，而這個身影也正是 Taylor 從小到大一直在尋找的愛的對象，然而這個人並沒有出現在她身邊。
直到她長大了、成名了，卻發現與所有人隔著一道牆，也象徵著名利對她的限制，以及無法認真愛一個人的無奈，她的人生彷彿只能一直表演，一直演出，無法活出真實的自己。
接著她穿著黑色的斗篷就像是 Reputation 時期，她決心要改變一切，叛逃早期的形象，而也在這時，她發現了一群同樣的人，而這個愛人也是其中一位，顯現出 Taylor 在派對上遇到 Joe Alwyn 的意思。而最後，Taylor 沿著金線回到了家中，並終於和男主角相遇，或許也呼應著 Cardigan 兩人終於找回了彼此，並成為對方的摯愛。
