今天 Charlie Puth 無預警的在 Youtube 上公布最新歌曲 The Way I Am ! 雖然之前 Charlie Puth 在接受 Beat1 採訪時，就已經有提到這首歌，但並沒有公佈發表時間，版主第一次聽到時的感覺是，WOW，終於有點新東西了XD 不得不說，之前釋出的幾首單曲，雖然好聽有趣，但同質性有點太高，而這首 The Way I Am 就重新寫出了一套旋律和節奏，雖然不如之前的舞曲風，但也是非常動感

這首 The Way I Am 在接受 Zane Lowe 採訪時，Charlie Puth 形容這首歌是最私人、最隱密的一首歌，寫的是關於自己最真實的樣貌，還有想帶給大家的東西，描述出他從默默無名到突然爆紅的心路歷程，也告訴大家光鮮亮麗的背後，其實有許多的壓力及限制，在歌詞中有一句寫我已經很少外出，哪都不能去，讓版主突然想到 Ed Sheeran 在那一年的隱世，因為 Ed 在拿到葛萊美獎爆紅後，他幾乎不能過自己的生活，走到哪都被要求合照、被要求簽名，讓他的生活過度的曝光及壓力，最終選擇休息一年，關閉所有媒體，徹底的消失，重拾生活的樂趣！而我想 Charlie Puth 在這兩三年間瞬間的爆紅，也讓他經歷了一樣的過程，但他似乎已找到了自己的答案，並用音樂帶給大家更多歡樂和力量！
