The Vamps樂團是因為2011年時吉他手James打算組個樂團，他從YouTube看到Bradley，邀請他成為樂團主唱，兩人開始一起寫歌。
2012年他們透過Facebook找上了朋友的朋友鼓手Tristan，最後透過徵選招募貝斯手Connor入團。
而他們跟Shawn Mendes一樣是靠著翻唱紅起來的。
