今年她已高齡 77 歲，距離她發上一張專輯 《I Love You》 也已是 2006 年，睽違 15 年，她宣布將在今年 9 月推出她的新專輯 《Thank You》，實在是讓她的老粉絲又驚又喜！
Diana Ross 表示新專輯 《Thank You》 的所有歌曲都是在疫情間錄製完成的，並說：「這些歌曲是我以感恩和愛獻給你們的禮物，我會永遠感激我有機會能在這段時間錄製美妙的音樂。」
接著說：「這張專輯傳達了有力量的、包容性的愛和團結的音樂訊息，並用歌曲中幸福、感恩和喜悅全心全意地感激我們能在一塊。」
《Thank You》 共收錄 13 首歌曲，Diana Ross 與眾多當代流行歌曲製作人合作譜寫，其中包含 Jack Antonoff（曾與 Taylor Swift、Lana Del Rey、St Vincent、Lorde 等大咖藝人合作）、Jimmy Napes、Tayla Parx、Spike Stent、Troy Miller、Triangle Park 等人。
